Our Values in Action

Five years ago two people had a dream. Nurse Practitioners Rhonda Bergeron and Dustin Miller opened Acadiana Practitioners in Port Barre and poured their talents and resources into that clinic. The connection to the community, personalized care and accessibility accelerated the need to grow. Acadiana Practitioners provides services at three locations in St. Landry parish, Port Barre, Opelousas and Sunset. Their team has grown to over 50 employees and are seeing upward of 100 patients daily. With both partners being from and living in St. Landry parish, they are aware of the complex needs of the patients they serve, the struggle with accessibility and the high instances of infrequent healthcare. Both Dustin and Rhonda are true community servants and continue care for the community outside the walls of their clinics.
